The coatmaster advanced thermal optics (ATO) technology allows the thickness of the coating to be measured immediately after application. The technology operates contactless and non-destructive without dangerous emissions and is suitable for coating metal, paper, rubber, ceramics, glass, plastic and wood surfaces. film thickness

The coatmaster is compatible with all types of coatings (paint, powder, lubricants, adhesives, thermal spray) and substrates, resulting in a wide range of application possibilities. It can be used to determine coating thicknesses, material parameters (e. g. porosity) and contact quality (e. g. to detect delamination).

The coatmaster measures very quickly (typical 0.1 sec), can measure up to 1 meter from the part, can measure at angles to the surface, and can measure moving parts. It is designed for in-line production implementation.
